Polly's Second Attempt
Just because it is Bank Holiday - I thought I would do two videos, in a vain attempt to look like I have done something remotely interesting this summer. And also, I have news regarding what I will be doing AFTER the summer holidays...but watch the video first...
So there was that, knee deep in the sea, that is progress though right? I was really hoping to get more done this summer, such as visit a theme park, and at least start some of the crafty based things in my list. Perhaps I can use the dark nights of winter as an excuse to stay in and do some work...although I will, of course, be spending my time working hard on my Masters! Social and cultural Theory no less. I have a great idea for my dissertation too, so hopefully I will be able to get started on that - lesson learned from last time "don't write it all in the last few weeks!" Anyway, that other video I promised you. I went to a Tree Fest... no, me either, but it was good! As a bonus, you also get to meet my favourite set of (non-related) small people, so worth a watch for that reason alone. Also, in Minimalism/Kon Mari news: I have bravely loaned someone a book, and they have enjoyed it AND haven't lost/destroyed it (bad experiences with past lendings!). It was that Minimalist one, I'm sure I mentioned it AGES ago; Now I have someone to bounce ideas off of, so I can carry on and complete my "2016 things in 2016" challenge. As the final six months of the 40 x 40 experiment draw closer, I really need to now look at completing more of my tasks... so hopefully will have news for you next week on that.
